Discovering chocolates at The Cocoa Trees

Bite into a big Oreo cookie

This one day, a colleague brought peanut butter Oreo cookies to work. Of course, they were wiped clean in minutes. But everyone was also wondering where to find them again. As luck would have it, I was invited to visit The Cocoa Trees.

The Cocoa Trees I visited is a shop-in-shop at Nature’s Basket, Hill Road, Bandra (W). Apart from selling giant Oreo Cookie packages, the retail concept store sells the widest range of quality, recognized chocolate brands like Anthon Berg, Cadbury, Celebrations, Chupa Chups, Cote d’Or, Daim, Droste, Duc d’O, Fazer, Ferrero, Gavottes, Goldkenn, Haribo, Hawaiian Host, Hershey’s, Jelly Belly, Jules Destrooper, Kagi, Kinder, Lorenz, M&M’s, Maltesers, Mars, Mentos, Merci, Milka, Ritter Sport, Snickers, Starburst, Storz, Swiss Delice, Taveners, The Belgian, Tic Tac, Toblerone. Basically, the A-Z of international chocolates.

Do you remember that F.R.I.E.N.D.S episode where in the midst of Ross & Emily’s back and forth, all Joey cares about is the large bar of Toblerone? We found a huge ruled bar of Kinder at The Cocoa Tress and may I say, the photographeress was very pleased?

The great thing about The Cocoa Trees opening up in a location other than the airport is that you needn’t just buy your favourite international chocolates from the Duty-Free. Plus, The Cocoa Trees is always running some or the other promotion and you can make hampers to gift your loved ones. The store earns brownie points from me. :)

How would you wear your Lavie?

My introduction to Lavie handbags was through the television commercial featuring Kareena Kapoor. It instantly struck a chord. Since then, I’ve always wanted one. The new collection offers an amazing choice. And I have my eyes set on the one featured below. I’ve already decided how I’m going to wear it.

If your handbag was as coveted, wouldn’t you want it to be the ‘hero’ piece? I’d bring out the scarlet with my lips and necklace and go black and white with the outfit. What do you think?

Phew! That’s a lot of brand names in the title. As my sister likes to put it, I’m a ‘prankster’. So I wore my newest Elle dress to the Allen Solly & Vogue ‘School Of Style’. It’s a different print for me yet within my realm.

Do you think our looks work? Apart from the fact that I need to lose weight (just being honest), did I do okay?

As I wander away, I have to mention how excited I am for the first Elle FashionWear bloggers’ meet. I have to dress for a ‘mid-day in Paris’ and I’m looking for inspiration. Feel free to throw ideas at me. Thanks!
