I woke up this morning to messages from a very excited friend, “You’re in the papers again!” I’m not going to lie. It does feel good. Every couple of days, I’ll meet a friend, relative or acquaintance and they’ll congratulate me on all the press. Some people actually recognize me from the papers, which is another thrill. And of course, everyone asks, ‘When’s the next garage sale?’ Aastha and I are loving how ‘From The Rabbit Hole’ is growing and we’re going to try to have them once in every two months for sure. Until then follow Alice’s adventures on this blog, like the facebook page for updates and follow me on twitter for all that can be said in 140 characters. If you’re interested in contributing to the next garage sale or hosting it, email us at alicewandering25@gmail.com and aastha.atray@gmail.com So, are you enjoying this new wave of garage sales in the city?

Last week, post the World Cup celebrations, Aastha and I had our third garage sale. We were in a different venue and Kino 108 was a great host! We were also really excited to have those of you we met over emails and facebook. A huge thanks to all of you who have been writing in. We will plan something soon! I think what was most special was that we now have regulars. Some of you have attended and shopped at all three of our sales! Kisses.
My fortune cookie reads ‘red toe nails at a French salon’
I’ve always wanted a splash of red on my nails. There’s something bold and feminine about the colour. And who does nails better than the French, eh? So, to fulfil this wish, I hopped to Jean Claude Biguine’s friendly outlet in Juhu.
The French salon has an extensive menu for nails. It took us less than 2 minutes to decide that I should get the Biguine Bio pedicure.
One bag in all my bags. Get yours!
I’ve been meaning to tell you about this bag organiser I picked up when I met Beverly Pereria at the Candies Bazaar & Bling.
It sounded perfect and looked just right. Not only was I looking for a solution to the clutter in my bag but I also love organizational tools. The girly girl that I am, I bought a waterproof pink one with blue drawstrings. It has a separate zipped compartment where I fit my make-up and four pockets in different sizes where I fit my pen drive, visiting cards case, digital camera and ipod touch. In the main case, I fit my wallet, keys, spectacle cases, lens case and solution, etc. I’ve been using it for 3 weeks now and after the initial internal resistance and surprise, I now take 5 minutes to arrange my bag. Talk about saving time and energy! Continue reading
Bus kya Jackky Bhagnani?
Jabkky Bhagnani’s film F.A.L.T.U is up for release. I came across the trailer on television and realized it’s been inspired by Hollywood film ‘Accepted’. Irrespective of whether it’s a good adaptation or not, we’re probably going to see him in quirky tees.
I opened the Filmfare to find his interview.
