I know I’ve been MIA for a while. But it’s only because I’ve been so busy. Thanks for sticking around.
In fact, I even travelled to Delhi for a friend’s wedding and arrived in Mumbai only this morning. Blog on that coming soon. 🙂
But before we talk of anything else, I have to share an article on ‘From The Rabbit Hole‘ that appeared in the Sunday Express supplement Eye. I love coming back to good news. 😀
I know so many of you have been asking when the next garage sale is. We promise one at the end of this month! Also, we’re welcome to any feedback or queries you may have. Just email us at email@example.com and firstname.lastname@example.org
Of course, to know what’s going in Alice’s Wander-land, just follow her on twitter: @dhruvis, like the facebook page and of course, visit the blog.
Last week, post the World Cup celebrations, Aastha and I had our third garage sale. We were in a different venue and Kino 108 was a great host! We were also really excited to have those of you we met over emails and facebook. A huge thanks to all of you who have been writing in. We will plan something soon! I think what was most special was that we now have regulars. Some of you have attended and shopped at all three of our sales! Kisses.
So, I wake up this morning to tons of emails (occupational hazard). When you live with a Blackberry (it’s an entity by itself) every digital notification makes its way to you. So did this one. Someone very sweet had written on our Facebook page (From the Rabbit Hole) wall.
Just read the feature in HT Cafe!!! When’s the next sale?? 🙂
So, I jumped out of bed, texted Aastha, found the details and saved this article for our viewing.
So, Aastha and I met up to discuss important matters on a Friday. We try. Of course, we spoke about so many things under the sun.
T-shirt – Zara @ Palladium Mall, Mumbai | Jeans – Infinity, Juhu, Mumbai | Sandals – QueueUp, G7 Mall, Versova, Mumbai | Bag – Chocolate, Hong Kong
I wore my tee from Zara. It was really appropriate because it has a graphic of a girl sipping on soda from a paper glass. It’s so hard to find the right pair of jeans. I found this dark colour appropriate for day and night wear. I’m in love with this bag from Chocolate. It can be worn two ways. Co-incidentally, we were in Hong Kong for Chocolate’s big opening. It is the cutest store. You have to go when you’re there. I brought back their newsletters. My sandals from QueueUp are very comfortable if you have to queue up somewhere. I picked them up for the quirky orange colour.
Since I own a Blackberry, I’m always shopping with friends. I snap a picture and send it to a friend when in doubt. However, my phone had died and I went with my gut. If orange is too flashy for you, pick another colour.
Co-incidentally Aastha was also dressed in jeans for a meeting at Gloria Jeans Coffee. 😛 Was the subliminal advertising working on us? She bought these geeky glasses at Colaba. I’ve been gifted similar ones in a turquoise blue colour. Interestingly, she tucked in her Sabbah Sharma dress to appear as a top. To read her blog post on the same, check her blog: Indian Summer
Perhaps the other subliminal advertising was working on me. I had a White Chocolate chiller. It was really good. If you’re not a coffee drinker and crave white chocolate, Gloria Jeans Coffee understands your need. 🙂
So, if you’re looking for someone to help you find that right pair of jeans, contact me via email, facebook or twitter. I took ze best friend shopping for them and she wears them all the time. No kidding.
