Alice lusts funky flash drives

The other day, my friend Coop posted this link on my facebook timeline. No prizes for guessing why. Of course the world’s most expensive flash drive had to be a magic mushroom inspired from Alice In Wonderland. After a serious consideration and good laugh, I started looking for funky flash drives in my budget. Not that I need to add to a collection that includes a pink flash drive, an engraved silver one, one that looks like a camera and some regular ones but I looked anyway.

So I spoke to my friends over at Its Our Studio for a fix of funky pen drives. I was really pleased with what they had to offer. The tea-pot pen drive, the mix tape USB drive and the beer bottle pen drive were my favourites.

Last week, post the World Cup celebrations, Aastha and I had our third garage sale. We were in a different venue and Kino 108 was a great host! We were also really excited to have those of you we met over emails and facebook. A huge thanks to all of you who have been writing in. We will plan something soon! Want Ranbir Kapoor to style your hair?

So, I was cleaning my mailbox today. I had to pay heed to the warning sign in the fear of losing incoming mail. And I came across these super pictures. There are always benefits to cleaning. Meanwhile, the hot summer has descended upon us. If I know one thing for sure, it’s long locks and summer don’t gel. I was accompanying a friend to the salon and my hairstylist decided to snip the length off my hair. Hence, I am currently sporting a sorta bob with a heavy fringe.

So, I wake up this morning to tons of emails (occupational hazard). When you live with a Blackberry (it’s an entity by itself) every digital notification makes its way to you. So did this one. Someone very sweet had written on our Facebook page (From the Rabbit Hole) wall.

One bag in all my bags. Get yours!

I’ve been meaning to tell you about this bag organiser I picked up when I met Beverly Pereria at the Candies Bazaar & Bling.

It sounded perfect and looked just right. Not only was I looking for a solution to the clutter in my bag but I also love organizational tools. The girly girl that I am, I bought a waterproof pink one with blue drawstrings. It has a separate zipped compartment where I fit my make-up and four pockets in different sizes where I fit my pen drive, visiting cards case, digital camera and ipod touch. In the main case, I fit my wallet, keys, spectacle cases, lens case and solution, etc. I’ve been using it for 3 weeks now and after the initial internal resistance and surprise, I now take 5 minutes to arrange my bag.
