Early 2010, in Europe’s freezing winter, the sister and I were going to spend exactly 2 nights in the city of Paris. While we did spend most of the first day sleeping, we decided to make as much of the night as we could to cover up. We booked ourselves onto the night ferry across River Seine, a walk around the Eiffel tower at night and a show at the Moulin Rouge. But we were in Paris and I had to get a souvenir glass from Hard Rock Cafe. We had rented a private cab and with a lot of hope, we asked the driver if it would be possible. He agreed but on the condition that we would spend no more than 5 minutes at the shop. We were sold. We literally walked in and picked up the first glass we saw. To our surprise, it was a dessert glass. Unique to the Paris store, it made perfect sense why it would be so. We were outta there in no time but it’s so much fun recounting the story.

Je t’aime Gossip Girl a Paris
On 13th September, 2010, Gossip Girl season 4 premiered with the episode Belles de Jour.
I love Gossip Girl in Paris:
Blair and Serena are a spitting image of sisters on vacation.
& of course, their style is fantastic.
Don’t we just wish we could shop from Chanel and walk Parisian streets carefree?
We would dress in our best and walk in a strut.
Be wooed by princes and taken to dinner.
Have a fight or two with the sister – our only best friend!
And simply make up with a pastry that
can’t be refused outside of the Eiffel Tower.
The magic of Paris!

Paris | J’Adore
In the really cold winter of the year going by, the sister and I decided to go away to Europe for a fortnight. Paris was our most coveted destination.
It is impossible for us to watch Paris and not think of one another. Gilmore Girls go to Paris and we are dreamy-eyed. When the Gossip Girl stars Serena and Blair are in Paris, we’re screaming with joy.
2 Days in Paris. I, for one, couldn’t stop smiling.
We were living the dream. Across from the Gare du Nord at the Terminus Nord; walking the street, shopping from Gap and Gucci; embracing the Eiffel tower amidst a snowfall and sipping on bubbly at the Moulin Rouge. It was perfect!
Long baths. Quick bites at cafes. Hopping on and off open buses. Freezing in our fancy shoes. Hunting for boots. A boat ride around Paris at night. Lighting candles at the Notre Dame. Swinging in and out of Hard Rock Cafe. Leaving with the beautiful memory of Moulin Rouge.

Hello world!
It was a really hot day! The summer was harsh!
But I wanted to feel bright and happy. So, I was wearing my pwetty pink bow…
to represent the general happiness of life.
