It’s been a year and a fortnight! A year ago, I was sitting in front of a computer, surfing through fashion blogs and wondering if I could have my own. A year later, I have my own blog and so many stories to share. Sometimes, I’m referred to as Alice, other times strangers walk up to me because they know me from the blog and I get so many calls from the media. It’s incredible.
You know I like to celebrate all the special occasions in my life and inevitably, I host parties for my friends. When Alice Wandering… turned 1, we had a pizza, beer and cake party. :D
Alice's pizza and beer party
Foster’s sent us loads of beer in their new PET bottles. California Pizza Kitchen sent us so much pizza to match. Surprisingly, I haven’t eaten from California Pizza Kitchen before. They sent us the Traditional Cheese, Vegetarian with Grilled Eggplant, White Pizza, Tostado and Pesto variety. Trust me, it was wiped clean. DeliveryChef.in sent us the yummiest cake we’ve had in a while. I’ve been craving for it every once in a while.

I have to say some of my friends were a little too excited.
We had a really good time!

Are you celebrating a special occasion too? How’re you going to do it?
A couple of years ago, I started a Cousins’ Club. Now, you have to understand I have a huge family. My dad has seven siblings. Of course, they all have spouses and children. That makes my first cousins run into fifteen, of which some have spouses and children. So, the numerical strength of our CC is 28. But this post isn’t about the math. :) It’s about the initiative all of us took to meet up, have fun and be updated on each other’s lives. We meet once a month, the host decides on a theme; food, drinks and games to go with it. Last month, it was ze sister’s and my turn. The sister has been learning French and we’re still hungover from Paris. The theme was French, Cadbury Bournville decided we had earned it and sent us wine and chocolate to go with. It went great!

One of the games was to put your best foot forward and strike a pose with the Cadbury Bournville and Sula wine of your choice.

If you would like to place an order for some coasters,
contact me via email (firstname.lastname@example.org)
or just leave a comment and I will get in touch with you.
So, how do you like your coffee?
I prefer hot chocolate. Especially from Costa Coffee. They have the right mix.
I hate spilling. So, I made my own coasters. Inspired by a coaster.
It reads: MAKE-DO AND MEND | a ball of wool bobs on a placard:
“Mend and make-do to save buying new.”
Mugs on coasters
For Aniruddha’s ‘At the Movies’ theme birthday, we gave away coasters as take-home gifts and something to remember the night by.
I kept Love Aaj Kal and Watchmen, for obvious reasons.
Available in 50 and more designs.
At the movies
They work great as party decor, gifts, take-aways,
and I use the concept to make more versatile items as well.
Cheers to a hot cuppa coffee! :*
