Case of Monday Blues?

While I write this post, I have finished with my day’s work.
And I am wearing a sketched cat with paws that follow on the bottoms.

I read up on the role Monday has to play in popular culture.
There are way too many negative connotations attached to it.

It looks like Monday needs a bad case of hope.

Of course, the cat I turn to for most philosophies had quite an input to offer.

Garfield | Monday

Well, Garfield has an instrumental role to play in our lives.
Besides, providing the motivational quote for this blog,
he has contributed to tweaking an image of Monday in world cultures.

And having started the day listening to this song:
the Bangles’ Manic Monday here.

Monday could have gone down the route of Mondatory blues
(as a colleague likes to put it)

So, i decided to travel back in memory,
and stop on the tracks of one of my favourite films (hey, what did you expect?)

Elizabethtown | Station

& I wanted to share the quote that always cheers me up:

Claire Colburn: So you failed. Alright you really failed. You failed. You failed. You failed. You failed. You failed. You failed. You failed. You failed. You failed. You failed. You failed. You failed. You think I care about that? I do understand. You wanna be really great? Then have the courage to fail big and stick around. Make them wonder why you’re still smiling.
I don’t really think I’ve ever felt like I’ve failed. Life is too short and the road ahead is long and winding. & I’m trying to be less mysterious (flutters eyelashes).
So yeah, I’m still smiling. *big and wide*

Hope you felt the Monday morning sunshine. :*

It was the fated flood day | My friend referred to as Heman | Had to drown away her b’day sorrows | It would have been helpful | Had she found her way through dar waters | I’d be waiting at every corner

If you’re wondering what you would do with it, as a trinket, they look great by the bedside. I’m sure Heman would recommend it. :)

Hello world!

Turning heads on a station bridge

It was a really hot day! The summer was harsh!
But I wanted to feel bright and happy. So, I was wearing my pwetty pink bow…
to represent the general happiness of life.
